How do you feel after the first day of training? I saw that everyone was very enthusiastic, so I guess this day was very rewarding!
So the second day of training has begun!
First, Li Wei, the technical representative of Goodyear, gave us a lecture. He mainly explained Goodyear's "Goodyear", the overall information of aviation tires, the harsh operating environment of aviation tires, pre-maintenance, and inspection of aviation tires. He focused on the pre-maintenance of aviation tires, because many customers are still not clear about maintenance.
In terms of storage and usage recommendations for aviation tire skins and inner tubes, Goodyear technical representative Li Wei said that Goodyear tire skins and inner tubes have no service life, but they need to meet the storage conditions required by the Goodyear CMM manual and the inspection standards of the CMM manual.
Next, Zeng Renwei, a technical expert from the Aircraft Repair Plant of the Civil Aviation Flight Academy of China, explained in detail the common faults of the Lycoming IO-390C/360 series engines. Common faults mainly include: difficulty starting, unstable slow speed, engine shaking, low lubricating oil pressure, high cylinder head temperature, etc., all of which are explained in detail.
In terms of common faults of Hartzell propellers and accessories, Fan Zhanpeng, a technical expert from the Aircraft Repair Plant of the Civil Aviation Flight Academy of China, focused on the important processes and typical faults of propeller overhaul. Here, it is particularly mentioned that the Aircraft Repair Plant of the Civil Aviation Flight Academy of China has completed all preparations for the declaration of maintenance capabilities for the Hartzell steel hub turbine series, and plans to accept the on-site review of the authority in August 2025.
In the afternoon, technical experts from the Aircraft Repair Plant of the Civil Aviation Flight Academy of China used the Cessna 172 aircraft as an example to explain common problems in aircraft modification and structural inspection. They talked about the modification of the Cessna 172 aircraft, typical faults in structural inspection, the use of high-tech means to monitor the fuselage structure of the Cessna 172 aircraft, and the repair of major structural damage to the Cessna 172 aircraft.
Everyone should be familiar with DMA atmospheric data tester. Next, DMA manufacturer representative Li Yong will share his experience on MPS43B atmospheric data tester. Finally, Facom manufacturer representative Sun Liang talked about the introduction and use of Facom aviation tools. Speaking of tools, I wonder if everyone is familiar with the classification of tool grades. The manufacturer also mentioned that they are mainly divided into: aviation grade - professional grade - maintenance grade - DIY grade; in addition, the manufacturer focused on introducing the new soft tool bag - Probag and the upgraded trolley case.
