The Lycoming EIS serves as a direct replacement for traditional magnetos, offering simple installation and effectively optimizing engine starting performance. Designed with a service life that matches the engine's Time Between Overhaul (TBO) interval, it eliminates the need for the periodic scheduled maintenance typically required for magnetos.
