Dry Air Pumps
Tempest® Dry Air Pumps are FAA-PMA certified to meet the needs of today's light aircraft.
All new and overhauled Tempest® Dry Air Pumps feature the patented WIP™ (Wear Indicator Port) which allows for an internal view of the pump’s vanes. The WIP™ helps determine if a pump should be replaced and avoids unplanned maintenance as the pump exceeds its life cycle. The pumps also include finned stators for enhanced cooling and the internal stator wear surfaces are “super-hard” treated for low friction and extended life.
Tempest® Dry Air Pumps offer a closed coupling area and patented "LRT" flow diverter. These design features will help you detect and prevent external contamination of the pump.
