    BXP641X Overview

    The BXP641X is a feature-rich device that integrates a Mode S transponder, an ADS-B subsystem, a cost-effective SBAS GPS receiver, and a barometric altimeter into a single unit.

    This space-saving device is also designed for remote operation. The BXP641X can be controlled via a control panel or a glass cockpit. Its small size, light weight, and battery-powered capability are key advantages over traditional devices, making the BXP641X a viable replacement for traditional devices offered by Becker Avionics.

    Mode S Transponder

● The BXP641X includes a fully functional Category 1 (250 watts), Level 2 datalink Mode S, ELS transponder.

● Its Mode S functionality complies with current global requirements ETSO-C112e. ELS compliance and extended discontinuous oscillator have been verified at the installation level according to CS-STAN and EASA CS-ACNS.

● This transponder operates using a single antenna.

    ADS-B Output Compliance

● The BXP641X includes a 1090 MHz airborne ADS-B system, providing transmission capabilities for Category B1S devices.

● This transmitting subsystem broadcasts aircraft identification, position, speed, and status data.

● When used with an external certified GPS receiver, the BXP641X meets all European and US mandatory requirements for ADS-B.

    Barometric Altimeter

● The built-in temperature-compensated barometric altimeter is a precision signal source suitable for flight altitudes up to 35,000 feet.

● Rigorous certification according to ETSO-C10b allows it to be used as the primary source of barometric altitude and can be easily connected to FMS, GPS, or terrain awareness systems.

● This barometric altimeter enables rapid switching of reference pressure from current values ​​(e.g., QNH or QFE).

    SBAS GPS Receiver

● The BXP641X includes a GNSS receiver compliant with EASA ETSO-C199 standards. This type of GPS receiver represents a reasonable trade-off between price and accuracy, suitable for light helicopters and aircraft, enabling it to operate under the same rules as TABS equipment.
